In Her Nature
As women, we were never meant to be only one thing. We can care deeply and stand our ground, trust what we’ve built and remain open to what comes next.
Inspired by Cristen René’s latest jewelry collection Architect of the Wild, my newest painting collection In Her Nature translates the meaning behind select jewelry designs into portraits of women fully inhabiting who they are. The jewelry moves between muse and medium, sometimes painted into the work or physically incorporated into it, blurring the line between art we wear and art we live with.
Each painting begins with a duality: two qualities we are often taught to choose between, but were always capable of co-existing and celebrating.
A FORCE OF HER OWN
A woman’s strength has never been limited to how loudly she speaks or how fiercely she fights. It lives just as deeply in her tenderness, her conviction and her willingness to stand behind what she believes.
A Force of Her Own celebrates a woman who leads with kindness without surrendering her power. Her softness does not make her fragile. It gives her strength purpose.

THE ART OF BEING
SELF-EXPRESSION + SELF-ACCEPTANCE
There is something magnetic about a woman who has stopped searching for herself in the eyes of others.
The Art of Being celebrates the freedom of choosing authenticity over approval. She has nothing to prove, no one to impress and nothing to become before she is worthy of being seen. Her self-expression is no longer a performance; it is the natural result of belonging fully to herself.

UNWRITTEN
We become very good at building certainty: making the plan, following the timeline and working toward the person we believe we are supposed to become.
Then the edges of what we know begin to soften.
Unwritten celebrates the woman who trusts herself enough to remain curious. Changing direction does not mean she has lost her way. Sometimes, it means she can finally see beyond the life she once knew how to want.
